Entering a code for activating/deactivating zero opening
Zero opening means that the door can be opened by simply pressing 0 instead of entering a code in
the normal way. Here is how to specify a code to be used to activate or deactivate zero opening.
The code itself will not work for unlocking. It is 0 that will unlock the door.
1.
Set the unit into programming mode by entering the
system code
.
2.
Press 3 (menu selection), then #.
3.
Enter the desired code, 3–6 digits.
End with #. The unit will beep once to confirm the change.
4.
End with 0 followed by # to end the programming session.
Activating zero opening
1.
Entering a code (see above) for activating/deactivating zero opening.
2.
End with star (*).
The lock can now be opened by pressing 0.
Deactivating zero opening
1.
Enter the activation code (see above).
2.
End with #.
The lock can now no longer be opened by pressing 0.
Activating/deactivating code attempt limitation
In order to prevent someone from trying out a valid access code, you can limit the number of
attempts a person can make. If the function is activated, the unit keypad will be locked for a short
amount of time after 16 digits have been entered without a correct code.
1.
Set the unit into programming mode by entering the
system code
.
2.
Press 5 (menu selection), then #.
3.
Press 4 (submenu), then #.
4.
Press 1, then #, to activate code attempt limitation.
Alternatively, press 0, then #, to deactivate.
The unit will beep once to confirm the change.
5.
End with 0 followed by # to end the programming session.
