Programming the code lock

Adjust how long the door stays unlocked
The lock opening time can be set between 1 and 9 seconds, or to 0 to get 30 seconds. The standard
time is 3 seconds.
1.
Set the unit into programming mode by entering the
system code
.
2.
Press 6 (menu selection), then #.
3.
Enter the desired time in seconds (1–9). Alternatively, press 0 to set
30 seconds.
End with #. The unit will beep once to confirm the change.
4.
End with 0 followed by # to end the programming session.
Activating/deactivating sound when battery is low
When the battery level is low, three short beeps will be emitted upon lock opening.
Activating the sound will negatively impact the batteries’ lifespan. Activated as standard.
1.
Set the unit into programming mode by entering the
system code
.
2.
Press 5 (menu selection), then #.
3.
Press 2 (submenu) and then #.
4.
Press 1 to activate sound. Alternatively, press 0 to deactivate sound.
End with #. The unit will beep once to confirm the change.
5.
End with 0 followed by # to end the programming session.
Changing the system code
Note:
•
The system code cannot be the same as any of the access codes.
•
If the system code has more digits than a code, but shares the same initial digits, the
remaining digits must be entered within 2 seconds of the code’s last digit. Example: If the
system code is 123789 and there is a code 1237, the digits 89 must be entered within 2
seconds of entering the 7 in order to activate programming mode.
•
In order to change the system code, you must know the current system code. If you do not
know the current system code, see page 33.
Process:
1.
Set the unit into programming mode by entering the
system code
.
2.
Press 2 (menu selection), then #.
3.
Enter the desired system code, 3–6 digits.
End with #. The unit will beep once to confirm the change.
4.
End with 0 followed by # to end the programming session.

Make a note of the new system code, for example on page 37.
