DVDs equipped with the password function are rated according to
their content. The contents allowed by a parental lock level, and the
way a DVD can be controlled, may vary from disc to disc.
For example, if the disc allows, you can set up playback to skip over
violent scenes unsuitable for children, replace them with more
suitable scenes, or lock out disc playback altogether.
1. Repeatedly press

Parental Lock

repeatedly to set the parental lock level.

- Appears when you activate the parental lock feature or
change the settings.

- Appears when the parental lock is inactive.

enter your code, and press

Note:
If you make a mistake before pressing
ENTER
, press
CLEAR
and enter your 4-digit security code again. You cannot
play DVD discs rated higher than the level you selected unless
you turn the parental lock function off.

RETURN

to exit and return to the normal screen.
If you forget the password, you can erase your current password by
pressing
8
on the remote four times, and then pressing
ENTER
.
