Playing Discs
Random Playback (VCD, SVC and audio CD)
You can play all the tracks on the disc in random order (chosen by the DVD player).
Press the RANDOM button to start random playback.
RANDOM
appears on the screen. Press the
RANDOM button again to resume normal playback. OFF appears on the screen.
Playback Control (VCD 2.0 only)
The Playback Control offers scenes and information which can be selected interactively via a menu. It
can also be used to display high-resolution pictures, if the disc contains any.
Press the PBC button to turn the function on and off.
Note: This function may not be available on all VCDs.
Program Playback (DVDs, Audio CDs, some VCDs and SVCDs)
The program playback function is not available on mp3 CDs. The DVD player has a 20-track
programmable memory that allows you to enter the order of how you want the tracks to play. In
addition, you can program certain tracks to play more than once.
Bookmarks (DVD/VCD/CD)
The player can store up to 12 disc locations as long as the disc remains in the player and it is turned on.
These marks are similar to marking pages in a book.
Note: mp3 discs do not support this feature. Also, some discs may not work with the bookmark feature.

With a disc inserted, press the PROGRAM button.
PROGRAM
appears on the screen.

Enter 2 numbers for each program track, title, or chapter.
The cursor jumps to the next program entry. Repeat this
step to add other entries (up to 20).
Notes:
You can repeat a title or chapter more than once if desired.
To clear an entry,
use the navigation , ,
, and buttons to
highlight the entry and press CLEAR.

Use the navigation , ,
, and
buttons to select the
Start position.

Press PLAY to begin the program playback.
The player begins to play the first title/chapter that
you programmed and continues to play all of the titles/
chapters that you programmed in the order in which you
programmed them.
5.
To stop program playback, press STOP.
Note: The program list is erased when the disc is removed or you
press the STOP button twice.
6.
To exit the Program playback menu, press the PROGRAM
button again.
