button repeatedly increases the speed levels: x2, x4, x8, and
x16. To resume normal playback, press PLAY.

While a disc is playing, press PAUSE/STEP to pause the
picture. Repeatedly press PAUSE/STEP to advance the picture
one frame at a time. To resume normal playback, press PLAY.
Note: When a disc is paused or stopped for more than 5 minutes, the
screen saver mode is activated automatically. If the player remains in
the inactive state for another five minutes, the player turns off without
the resume play feature.

select slow motion forward or reverse playback at 1/2, 1/4,

or track at any time by pressing the SKIP REV (

FF (
) button.
Title/Chapter Direct or Time Search
During playback, use this search method to go directly to a specific title and/or chapter or to directly
access a location on the disc. Some DVD discs contain more than one title. Each title is divided into
chapters. Use this search method to go directly to a specific
Title, Chapter, Title Time
or
Chapter Time
.
1. Press the SEARCH button repeatedly to select one of the options.
2. Use the number button(s) to enter the title, chapter or time. The player advances to that point on
the disc and begins playback.
Notes: Many discs only have one title.
The Chapter feature won’t work if the disc isn’t formatted with separate chapters.
If a number is entered that exceeds the limit of the Search option, then INPUT INVALID appears on the screen and
you must try again.
