• If you’re using a component video cable to connect your tuner to your monitor, make sure that you’ve connected the ends properly
(the cable connected to the Y jack on the tuner should be connected to the Y jack on your monitor; the cable from the tuner’s Pr jack
should connect to the monitor’s Pr jack, Pb to Pb).
The Info Banner (or Digital Captions Info screen) says that captions are available, but I don’t see any on my screen.
• The Info Banner and the Digital Captions Info screen depend on the broadcaster to indicate whether (and what types of) digital
captions are available. It is possible for the Info Banner and Digital Captions Info screen to indicate that captioning is available when,
in fact, it is not. Likewise, the languages or formats shown as available in the Info Banner or Digital Captions Info screen may not
match what is actually available in the transmitted material.
