Reference information
This section contains information about the VTR4's ratings, restrictions, error
and event codes.
11.1 Ratings
The electrical ratings of the connections are:
Signal Rating
Power input 24VDC ± 10%. Maximum ripple 10%.
Trigger input
Opto-coupler input: ~2 kohms series resistance.
0V to 2V is a logic 0.
5V to 24V is a logic 1, drawing between 2 mA and
12 mA
Trigger output
Opto-coupler transistor output.
Maximum switched voltage Vceo = 24V.
Load current should be externally limited to 50mA
maximum.
Note: These ratings are the absolute maximum permitted.
11.2
Restrictions
The minimum pulse delay for the light pulse output is approximately 2µs.
When using the retrigger delay, the minimum delay is approximately 5µs.
For pulse widths less than approximately 70µs fault detection does not operate.
The minimum delay for the trigger output is approximately 2µs.

Error codes
