7.1 Language selection

The system can operate in the following languages:

English (US)

English (UK)

Chinese

Danish

Dutch

Finnish

French

German

Greek

Italian

Japanese

Korean

Norwegian

Portuguese (Brazilian)

Russian

Spanish

Swedish

Turkish

Polish

Croatian

1. Press the

MENU

button to open the setup menu.

2. Select the

System Setup > Language

menu.

3. Select from the languages available.

7.2 Compass setup

You may need to linearize or “swing” a connected compass to
achieve optimal accuracy.

Linearizing or “swinging” your compass involves a calibration
procedure to fine-tune the heading alignment.

Note:

This procedure is not suitable for calibrating an autopilot

compass. You calibrate an autopilot compass using the autopilot
control head.

Linearizing the compass

1. Press the

MENU

button.

2. Select

Compass Setup

.

3. Select the

Linearize Compass

softkey.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

5. Use the rotary control to fine-tune the heading alignment.
