Chapter 720
1. Preconditions for idle measurement:
a. Sufficient oil flow in the tractor
b. No vibrations in the hydraulic system
c. Slide closed
d. Pressure sensor functional
2. Check:
Idle measurement is started and
stops repeatedly
Disc speed is not achieved
Spreading disc speed fluctuating
Metering slide fluctuating, buzzing
actuators
Idle position (-1) of the metering
slides is not reached or the
actuator hits the end stop
Pressure sensor defective on the
left or right-hand side
Check the oil in the tractor, check
the LS system
Check the hydraulic system of the
tractor

Check the spreading discs for
distortions
Check the disc speed sensors
Check the function of the actuators.
Check the piston rods for
sluggishness
Calibrate the actuators

Check the pressure sensor in the
Test/Diagnosis menu
