When removing the valve guide, be careful not to damage the cylinder

head.

c) Install the new valve guide from the valve spring side of the cylinder head.



Exhaust valve side: knock the exhaust valve guide until the retainer ring fully contacts the

cylinder cover (as shown in the figure).



Intake valve side: knock the intake valve guide to the specified height (measured from the

top of the valve guide to the surface of the cylinder cover) (as shown in the figure).
