1 Introduction
Dear customer,
Working with the oil cart offers the fol-
lowing benefits:
n
The oil or fat is filtered when it is
poured into the oil cart. You can reuse
it several times and without hesitation.
n
The oil or fat is stored dark in the oil
cart. This could prolong the oil’s shelf
life.
n
Fat can be melted in the oil cart.
Read the operating instructions carefully
prior to first-time use. The operating in-
structions are there to ensure that you use
the appliance safely. Keep these operating
instructions in a place that is accessible at
all times to anyone who will be using the
unit.
1.1 Target group
This document is intended for staff work-
ing in large and commercial kitchens. Make
sure that staff receive regular safety in-
structions and training with regard to the
intended use of this appliance.
Children or persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or persons
with insufficient experience and know-
ledge may only use the appliance in the
following cases:

This category of persons are super-
vised during use.
n
This category of persons has been
trained in the safe use of the appliance
and has understood the resulting risks.
The appliance may not be cleaned or main-
tained by children. Supervise children
standing near the unit. Children may not
play with the unit.
1.2 Intended use
The oil cart was developed to pump oil and
fat into the pan of the iVario Pro, model L
and XL, and then to filter it after the cook-
ing process.
This unit may only be used commercially,
such as in restaurant kitchens and large
and commercial kitchens in hospitals,
schools or butcheries.
All other uses are contrary to the intended
purpose, and may be dangerous. RA-
TIONAL AG assumes no liability for the
consequences of using the unit contrary to
the intended use.
