CORRECTION OF MINOR FAULTS
FAULT REMEDY
Variation in the height of cut of Front rolls are not square with the bottom blade.
grass across the width of cut. Make the necessary adjustments, see page 40.
Grass is cut unevenly in wavy or Alignment of cutting cylinder has

Grass is torn off instead of being Adjust the cutting cylinder to bottom blade,
cut cleanly. see page 38. If the grass is still not cut cleanly, the
cutters require sharpening. Backlap the cutters, see
page 44. If this does not rectify the fault consult your local
service centre.
Grass is removed entirely and the Bottom blade is set too low. Raise
mower labours. the height of cut, see page 38.
Mower moves forward sluggishly. Cylinder may have run into an obstruction. Stop the
engine and clear. If no obstruction is present the
problem may be due to clutch slip - adjust cable. If the
faults is not cured the rear roll clutch chain wheel
assembly may need replacing or the centrifugal clutch
shoes relining. Consult your local service centre.
Cuttings not entering grass box Concave set incorrectly. To adjust
properly. see page 42. If the grass clippings fall between the
front roll and the cutting cylinder, fit brush and keep
clean when emptying the grass box
