tabs are protected by a resettable circuit
breaker located in the breaker panel.
27 — PORT AND STARBOARD SYNC
SWITCH
Push the top of this switch to control both
engines using only the port throttle control
lever. Push the bottom of the switch to con-
trol both engines using only the starboard
throttle control lever. Push the switch to its
center position to use both throttle control
levers. The sync switch is protected by a
resetable circuit breaker located in the
breaker panel.
28 — SLOW VESSEL MODE SWITCH
Push the top of this switch to activate the
slow vessel mode. This allows the boat to
operate at a slower idle speed for travel
through no wake areas. This is made possi-
ble by allowing the transmission to slip at
regular intervals, causing the propeller to
turn in spurts. The switch is protected by a
resettable circuit breaker located on the
breaker panel.
29 — TWIN DISC CONTROLS
Ignition keys are located on the dash panel.
Ignition breakers are located on the AC/DC
panel. Turn the keys and breakers ON. Push
the station select button, below the ignition.
The ignition switch can now be activated.
See the twin disc owner’s manual for more
information.
To Start:
1. Push the top of the ignition switch.
2. Push the STATION SELECT button on
the twin disc controls.
3. Push the top of the ENGINE START
switch.
4. Hold the STATION SELECT button on
the twin disc controls until the NEUTRAL
light on the top of the control flashes.
This will allow throttle only.
5. Bring the control back to NEUTRAL and
it will return to the Throttle/Shift mode.
To Stop:
Push the bottom of the ignition switch. Turn
off the keys at the AC/DC panel if you are
leaving the boat.
30 and 31 — THROTTLE CONTROLS
Item 30 is the throttle control lever for the
port engine, and item 31 is the throttle con-
trol lever for the starboard engine. Reverse
is engaged when the throttle levers are
pulled toward the helm station. Neutral is
located in the center position and Forward is
engaged when the throttles are pushed
away from the helm station.

24 and 25 — START SWITCHES (Diesel)
Item 24 is the start switch for the diesel
engine, portside. Item 25 is the start switch
for the diesel engine, starboard side. The
diesel switch is a three position, but with no
stop feature. Its positions are: off, run and
start. There is no accessory position.
NOTE
Diesel engines can run without elec-
trical power. These switches
do not
stop engine rotation. Engine rotation
is stopped with the engine stop
switches (see items 22 and 23).
Engine start switches only stop elec-
trical power to engines. CAT 3406E
engines will stop when the keys are
in the off position.
26 — TRIM TAB SWITCHES AND
BREAKER
IMPORTANT
Push the trim tab rocker switches in
half second bursts. Holding the rockers
down too long will overtrim the boat.
The trim tab rocker switches are used to
correct the trim of your boat while you are
underway. To trim the bow of your boat
down, push the top halves of both switches.
To trim the bow of your boat up, push the
bottom halves of both switches. Refer to
