Step 2

Roll the binding tape to route it through the guide slot of the cutter, as shown in Figure 8-3.

Step 3

Align the binding tape with the blade of the cutter when you find a proper length. Pull the tape
obliquely downward to cut it off.

You can also use a normal scissor instead of the cutter.

8.1.3 Use of tail fiber binding tape

Use the tail fiber binding tape according to the following steps:

Step 1

Straighten out tail fiber into a bundle.

Step 2

Clip the binding tape to a suitable length according to the size of tail fiber.

Step 3

Hold the tail fiber bundle with hands, and press one side of binding tape with the thumb and
tension the binding tape with the other hand.

Step 4

Tension the binding tape with appropriate strength and rotate it around the tail fiber to stick
the rough surface to the hook surface, as shown in Figure 8-4.
