Remedy

Proto-Sound2.0volume is set toohigh. Turnthe
volumecontrol knobonthebottomofthechassis
counter-clockwiseto reducethe volume.
Volume issettoolow,adjustvolumecontrolknob
on thebottomofthechassisclockwisetoincrease
the volume or check connector to speaker.
Battery
Remedy
Theengine will notleavetheinitialneutral
setting.
I getnosoundswhentheengineshifts
between directions.
AfterIturnoffmytransformer,myengine
continues tomakesoundsbeforequitting.
Check to be sure thebattery is installed and fully

Remedy
TheFYSsoundsoccasionally repeat
themselves.
OnceinFYS,theenginedoesn'tgointo
reverse.
When the FYSentersitslastsequencethe
bellautomaticallycomes on.
When FYS is enabled,pressing theHorn and
bellbuttonshasnoeffect.
I pushthe Directionbutton butthenext
soundclipinthesequencedoesnotplayor
the enginedoes notcomeoutofFYSafter
the fourthpress of theDirection button.
Proto-Sound2.0has a built-inrandomnumber
generator that randomly selects eachsoundclip
to play. Because therearealimitednumberof
sound clipsavailable in eachFYSsequence, it
is probablethat some of thesesoundclipswill
be repeatedfromtime to time.
SothatFYSeffectscanbeasrealisticas
possible, Proto-Sound2.0disables thereversing
unit whenever FYSisenabled. This way the
engineremainsstillatitsstopastheoperator
cycles through the FYS sequences.
FYSisprogrammedtostartringingthebelland
then to puttheengineinmotionatthatpoint.
After approximately15rings of thebell, it will
automatically turn off.
BecauseFYSmustcontrolvariouseffectsin
eachsequence, Proto-Sound2.0takes control of
thesesoundeffectsuntilyouexitFYS.
EachFYS clipmustplayforacertainamount
of time beforeFYSwilladvancetothenext
step in theFYScycle. Wait atleast30seconds
in each FYSsoundclipbeforepressing the
Direction button.
