12.5 Comfort
Despite rising energy
prices, the comfort of
the occupants should
not be neglected. The
connection
between
comfort with
temperature +
humidity plays a
decisive role.
The adjacent graphic
(comfort
field)
illustrates how closely
illness-promoting conditions are connected with this. The
simple control of the ventilation unit allows you to adjust the
performance individually to your room conditions. In winter,
excess humidity can be removed very well, and in summer,
controlled ventilation leads to less mugginess, which you
would quickly have in the room by an open window.
12.6 Condensation and icicles
Condensation will occur mainly in the cold season, as soon as
the temperature in the heat exchanger falls below the dew
point. In summer, the temperature difference is usually not
sufficient for this, but there is hardly any danger of
condensation on the warm inner walls. Before the surface
temperature of the walls drops in winter, the unit can already
