This command determines how the DTE transmit clock is generated while the modem
is in synchronous modes.

The modem generates the transmit clock and applies it to pin

The DTE generates the transmit clock on pin 24 (RS232) and the
modem applies it to pin 15 (RS232).
&X2
The modem derives the transmit clock from the receive carrier
signal and applies it to pin 15 (RS232).
