The contents of S register 

n

 are sent to the DTE as three decimal digits. This 

informational text response is formatted with <CR><LF> as determined by the V 
command currently in effect.

Enable Tone Dialing 

 

 

This command instructs the modem to send DTMF tones while dialing. Dialed digits 
will be tone dialed until a P command or dial modifier is received.
