Drill-Lift restrictor:
Operation is made easier if a
power shaft-driven implement can only be raised to a
limited extent.
Attach the chain at (
14/1
) in the corresponding posi-
tion.
Allow the chain to sag in order to advance the at-
tached implement after removal of the drive shaft.

Deflector plates
(
15/1
)
They direct soil ”inwards” and close off any spaces
between the side plate and packer roller, and are par-
ticularly effective in preventing the build-up of clods of
soil when running toothed rollers over light soil.
Clod bar
(
16/1
)
”Height” adjustment is carried out at the spindles
(
16/2
); do not set too low, causing clods of soil to be
pushed forwards.
NB: Raise the clod bar when working on stony
ground.
Track eradicator
Adjust to rut-width and depth – do not set too low.
Use rigid or spring-loaded eradicators with narrow or
duckfoot knife tines.
Overload protection on rigid eradicators (
17/1
) - split pins
8 x 50 mm.
”Ramat”: adjust depth at bolts (
18/1
) – allow the as-
sembly to drop to its adjusted height and fit locknuts.
