Turning on and off
The display will only work if the batt ery is in the bike and
switched ON. To switch on the batt ery, press the ON +
Status butt on on the batt ery, above the 5 status indicator
LED’s.
Short press on the ‘ON/OFF’ butt on on the display (to turn
the system on or off . Aft er the system has been inacti ve for
5 minutes, it switches off automati cally.
Selecti on fi eld
Briefl y press the 'WALK' butt on to choose between the
diff erent display opti ons in the selecti on fi eld.
Adjusti ng the pedal assistance
Use the ‘PLUS’ and ‘MINUS’ butt ons to select the
assistance levels. The higher the power level, the stronger
the motor assistance. In power level 0 the motor gives no
assistance but you can use the display of the bike. Please
note that the batt ery runs out of power faster when using
a high power level than with a low power level. The highest
2 level is very powerfull and only meant for hills, slopes and
tough circumstances.
Operati ng the Walk assist
Use the Walk assist functi on to easily manage your bicycle,
for example, when exiti ng a bicycle cellar. Stand next to
your bicycle and keep your hands on the handlebar. Keep at
least one hand on a brake. Keep the ‘WALK’ butt on pressed
while fi rmly holding the handlebar. Aft er a few seconds,
the engine will turn on. As soon as you release the ‘WALK’
butt on, the Walk assist functi on automati cally switches off .
The Walk assist has a maximum speed of 6 km/h (without
load).
