Controls
Switching On and Off
Press the ‘
’ button on the console to start the
system. By pressing and holding the same button for 2
seconds, the system will turn off. If the e-bike is idle for
approximately 7 minutes, the system will shut itself off
to save energy.
Lighting
By pressing the ‘
’ shortly while the system is
turned on, the lights (including the backlight of the LCD
screen) will be switched on. The battery of your e-bike
supplies the required power for the lights, no additional
batteries are required.
Battery indicator
The battery continuously monitors the status of the
battery and displays the remaining charge in both a
percentage (%) as a simple battery icon. In case less
than 10% capacity remains in the battery, you might
experience a decreased motor performance. The screen
will show a flashing battery icon to warn for low charge.
Even when motor support ceases because of low
battery capacity, there will still be sufficient charge
available to power the lights and display for another 3
hours.
Power levels
The motor assistance can be set to three different
support profiles. Use the ‘ ’ and ‘
’ buttons on
the console to select your preferred mode:
SPORT: Most powerful mode.
TOUR: Balanced power mode.
ECO:
Energy saving mode.
OFF:
No motor support. Display stays on.
Please note a more powerful motor support mode
will result in a lower range.
Walk-assist function
Press and hold the ‘
’ button to activate the
walk assist function. This will only work when
the power level ECO, TOUR of SPORT has been
selected. The walk-assist function has a cruise
speed of 5 km/h and is intended to use while
walking alongside the bicycle. Use this function for
example to get your bicycle up a ramp.
