Desired seat height
The seat height is defined as the distance between the
seat surface and pedal in the lowest position. The seat
height is properly adjusted when the knee is bent just
a little while you stand with your foot on the pedal (in
the lower position). Please do not hesitate to ask your
dealer for advice!
If you can put your feet flat on the ground, your
saddle is too low.
Seat height adjustment
The height of the seat can be adjusted by turning the
Allen bolt in the seat clamp loose with an Allen key.
For the Performance RD10, MD10 and MN380 models
the seat clamp is integrated in the seat tube. Remove
the rubber cover by pulling it upwards as shown in the
picture. Similar to the regular seat clamp, the height
of the seat can be adjusted by loosening the Allen bolt
with an Allen key. Adjust the seat pen to the correct
height and tighten the Allen bolt again.
Please do not force the seatpost in case the
clamp is not fully released. This might cause
damage to the seatpost. Instead loosen the
seat clamp some more by rotating the Allen
bolt counterclockwise.
The safety marks should never be visible when
the seat is adjusted in height.
Do not forget to tighten the bolts and make
sure that your seat is attached firmly again
after adjustments!
