Warning! Use only Ni-MH batteries. Do not use Alkaline, Ni-Cad, or Lithium batteries.
1.
Place 2 AA rechargeable Ni-MH
batteries into the handset battery
compartment. Slide the battery
cover firmly into the grooves until it
latches. See the illustration.
2.
Place the cordless handset into the base cradle or
optional charger. The base light or charger light will
illuminate.
3.
The batteries should fully charge for 12 to 14 hours
before you use the phone.
Installing the Base
For optimal performance,
•
Install the base AWAY from electrical appliances such as televisions, personal
computers, microwave ovens, or other cordless phones.
•
Use the handset AWAY from microwave ovens or other cordless phone base
units.
Warning!
Use only the AC power supply provided with this phone. DO NOT use an
outlet controlled by a wall switch.
Proper Base Installation
Note: Place the base on a hard, flat surface. It cannot be wall mounted. Connection to
both a phone wall jack and a standard 110/120 volt outlet is required.
