Model QS-500 Tubestand

Connection of the High-Voltage Cables/Cable Routing

1. Install the Anode and Cathode terminals to the x-ray tube housing. Allow

sufficient cable drape (see Figure 18) in order to angulate the x-ray tube 90
degrees in either direction.

2. Fasten the cables into the cable clamps on the Vertical Trolley, along with

the cables from the collimator, Handgrip Assembly, Angulation Lock
Assembly and Vertical SID Switch Assembly by installing upper halves of Ca-
ble Clamps to lower halves using two (2) 8-32 x 1” socket head cap screws.

3. From the Vertical Column, drape the cables with the +24 VDC power supply

cable, to the x-ray generator.
