The Advanced Tab
The Advanced tab enables you to configure Lattus Object Storage, and
Truncation parameters for the policy.
Caution:
Contact Quantum support prior to modifying the default
values on the
Advanced
tab.
Lattus Object Storage
The Advanced tab’s
Lattus Object Storage
section contains the
following parameters:
•
Minimum File Idle Time before Storing
: Specify the interval of
time for a file to remain idle before storage begins. This parameter
uses the format 00:00:00:00, which refers to
days:hours:minutes:seconds.
•
Minimum File Size to Store
: Specify the minimum size a file must
be in order to be eligible for storage.
•
Segment File
: Enter a scaled integer to specify the maximum
segment size for objects stored in the Lattus Object Storage. If a
file's size is greater than the segment size, it is broken down to
multiple segments to be stored. If this is not configured, the whole
file is stored as one object in Lattus. Note that limits may be set on
the maximum size for an object stored in Lattus. If your file size can
be greater than the maximum object size, you need to configure
