3 If the system contains 32 Gb FC cards, connect the FC cables to the
FC ports in PCIe slot 1 and PCIe slot 3 on the top canister and the
bottom canister (see Figure 86 on page 93).
4 Connect one end of the short CAT6A Ethernet cable to Port 4 on the
top canister and the other side to port 4 on the bottom canister (see
Figure 87 ).
Note: This cable connection is for canister-to-canister
communication and must be in place before applying
power to the system.

5 Connect one power cable to PSU A and the other cable to PSU B (see
Figure 88 on page 95).
