Now, after pouring the coffee beans into the specific hopper, the grinder-dispenser is
ready for operation.
Open the tab and plug it into the mains, then set the switch to 'I'. At this point, the display
will light up and read 'READY'; the grinder-dispenser is in the condition to dispense the
desired coffee doses (one to two) or to be programmed. After placing the filter holder
in the filter fork, you can proceed with the brewing of ground coffee in this way:
- single dose: by touching the button indicating a cup
- double dose: by touching the button indicating two cups
- manual dosage: touching the 'MAN' button starts the grinder-dispenser. To stop dis-
pensing, press the 'MAN' button again (however, the grinder-dispenser stops itself after
4 minutes).
2. Programming
FOR ONE CUP - Press the 'MENU' button for 3 seconds to access the programming
menu. Press the '+' or '-' button to scroll through the menu, select 'dose time 1' by
tapping the 'OK' button; '+' or '-' can be used to increase or decrease the grinding time
expressed in seconds (3 digits) and hundredths of a second (2 digits) respectively to set
and refine the dispensed dose. Once the time has been programmed, press the 'OK'
button again to confirm and exit. To exit the menu, press 'ESC'.
FOR TWO CUPS - Same as for one cup by positioning on 'dose 2 time'.
The maximum time that can be set is 640 seconds for all options.
STAND BY TIME - This is the time after which the display enters power-saving mode. To
set it, press the 'MENU' button for 3 seconds to access the programming menu, press
the '+' or '-' button to scroll through the menu until you reach 'STAND BY time'. Select
it by pressing the 'OK' button, then use '+' or '-' to increase or decrease the time (in
minutes).
Once set, press the 'OK' button again to confirm and exit. To exit the menu, press 'ESC'.
SETTING THE TEXT IN 'READY' MODE - Press the 'MENU' button for 3 seconds to
access the programming menu, press "+" or "-" to scroll through the menu until you reach
the "bar text". Select it by pressing 'OK', then use the 'MAN' key to move the cursor to
the point where you want to start the text. Now use the '+' and '-' keys to scroll through
the alphanumeric list, stopping at the desired character; to move to the next character to
be entered, always press the 'MAN' key. Repeat the procedure until the desired text has
been entered. To confirm and exit, press 'OK'. To exit the menu, press 'ESC'.
