• Factory-built chimney must be 6 inch (152mm)

E. Factory-Built Chimney
The chimney can be new or existing, and must meet the
following minimum requirements.
• Must be a 6 inch (152mm) diameter (ID) high
temperature chimney listed to UL 103 HT (2100
o
F) or
ULC S629M.
• Must use components required by the manufacturer
for installation.
• Must maintain clearances required by the manufacturer
for installation.
• Refer to manufacturers instructions for installation.

spacers.

room, between appliance and ceiling or wall.
Connector shall NOT pass through:
• Attic or roof space
• Closet or similar concealed space
• Floor or ceiling
Maintain minimum clearances to combustibles
