The PC is also supplied with a Contoller Area Network (CAN) card which must also
be connected.
2. Connect the other side of the CAN card with the supplied cable to ‘ Port B ’ on
the mains input unit at the rear of the Insert Head as shown in Figure 6.7.

6.5 INF OUTPUT CAN CONNECTIONS
When Output options are required, an internal connection of the CAN to USB is needed
within the Insert Head before configuration of an Output Sorter, Turner, or Print and
Frank systems.
1. First, ensure power is off and the PC is shut down.
2. Remove the rear fixed Insert Head operator side cover, see section 5.2.2
Operator Side Cover for further information.
3. Un-clip the labelled RJ45 cable from its retaining clips and remove the label
as shown in Figure 6.8.
