The battery is equipped with a temperature monitoring system.
Never dispose of batteries with household waste or in fire or water.
Remove the battery:
The battery is equipped with a locking mechanism. When the battery is mounted on the charg-
er, it will be locked in. To remove the battery, press the unlock button and slide the battery out of
the charger. Do not disassemble.
Failure to comply with these instructions may result in explosions!
4. Maintenance and service
IMPORTANT
4.1 Maintenance
Maintenance of this tool is limited to removal of the jaw assembly:
- Remove the battery.
- Unscrew the nosepiece and front sleeve (step 1).
Unscrew the clamping sleeve and remove the 3-jaw set (step 2/3).
Note that this also releases the jaw pusher and pusher spring.
During intensive use, also regularly clean the front sleeve.
- Clean and lubricate the parts or replace them when worn out.
- Replace everything in reverse order and make sure all parts are
screwed firmly in place.
- Empty the mandrel collector regularly.
4.2 Service
In order to keep the tool in good condition, regular maintenance and replacement of worn parts
are recommended. Service is available and provided by the dealer or manufacturers’ represent-
ative. In any case of malfunction, please contact your dealer or manufacturers’ representative
immediately.
Repairs must be carried out by experienced personnel.

5. Safety instructions operation
IMPORTANT:
Follow the safety instructions to protect against electric shock, injury and fire
hazard
- Keep the working area clean and make sure there is enough light available. Do not operate
tools in dangerous environments (such as environments containing flammable- liquids, gas
or dust).
- This tool may only be used to set blind rivets; it may not be used for other purposes, e.g. as a
hammer.
- Do not overload the tool, and ensure that it is only used within the prescribed capacity
range.
- Keep the tool in its packaging and out of reach of children when it is not in use.
- Ensure that the mandrel collector is in place during use.
- If the tool is hung on the hanging hook, ensure that the tool cannot fall.
- Electrical safety: Do not expose the rivet tool to rain or high humidity. If water enters the
riveting tool, this will increase the risk of electrical shocks, and damage on the tool.
- Do not use the riveting tool under the influence of alcohol or drugs or when tired.
- Pay attention when using the riveting tool.
- Wear protective glasses and earmuffs to reduce the risk of injury.
- The use of personal protection equipment such as clothing, gloves, safety helmet and other
necessary protection is strongly recommended.
- Never block the ventilation holes on the tool body and avoid inserting anything. Also take
safety measures so that hair cannot get entangled in the ventilation holes.
- Always use original replacement parts for repairs.
- Repairs must be performed by qualified personnel. In case of any doubt, always return the
tool to the dealer or manufacturers’ representative.
- The blind rivets may be ejected from the tool. Never point the tool towards yourself or
another person or animal when using the tool.
Failure to comply with these instructions may result in explosions!
