Hot-swapping Redundant Power Supply Units
NAS devices with redundant power supply units support hot-swapping.
1.
Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet and the power supply unit (PSU) that you want to
replace.
2.
Firmly press and hold the latch toward the handle and then pull the PSU out.
3.
Insert the new PSU.
4.
Connect the power cord to the PSU and the electrical outlet.
5.
Power on the NAS.
