Power off the NAS.

2.

Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.

3.

Disconnect all cables and external attachments.

4.

Remove the case cover.

• TS-853BU, TS-853BU-RP, TS-1253BU, TS-1253BU-RP

1.

Loosen the screws that secure the case cover to the chassis.

2.

Slide the case cover back.

3.

Pull the case cover up until it completely detaches from the chassis.
