Setting Up Your Printer

Installing the Drum Unit

▲

Caution: The drum unit is sensitive to bright light. Do not remove the
drum unit from its protective bag until you are ready to install it. Store
the cartridge in an environment that is not subject to extreme heat or
humidity, salty air, or corrosive gases, such as aerosols.

Remove the bag containing the drum unit from the starter kit.

2

Open the protective aluminum bag by tearing open the top
(there’s a notch on the bag to help you start tearing the bag).
