7) OPERATION
WARNING! Only use the 85mm TCT blade to cut wood, plywood, woodbase composites,
plastics, vinyl and fiberglass.
An 85mm diamond blade to cut ceramic tile.
An 85mm HSS blade to cut aluminum, copper.
8) INSTALLING THE BLADE (Fig 2, Fig 3)
WARNING! BE SURE to wear protective work gloves while handling blade. The blade
can injure unprotected hands.
WARNING! Multi Saw may be hot after use. BE SURE to let Multi Saw blade and blade
spindle clamping screw COOL before changing blades.
1) Unplug the Multi Saw.
2) Press the spindle lock button on, place the wrench into the blade spindle clamping screw.
3) Turn the wrench that is in the clamping screw CLOCKWISE.
4) Remove the screw and outer flange.
5) Set the cutting depth scale to the maximum depth of 25mm. Release the blade release
lever and RAISE the base to expose the blade below the base.
6) Grasp the blade with your gloved hand and remove the blade, or install the blade, through
the blade slot in the base.
7) Place the new blade through the blade slot in the base and onto the spindle shaft against
the inner flange.
8) Replace the flange and spindle screw, hand tighten in a COUNTER CLOCKWISE
direction.
9) Use the hex wrench to tighten the spindle clamping screw thoroughly.
NOTE: The arrow on the Multi Saw blade must agree with the arrow showing the
direction of rotation (running direction shown on the device).
