CORRECT USE OF PERSONAL SAFETY EQUIPMENT
The personal safety equipment to be used is indicated on the blade guar
d. The equipment includes goggles (for
protection from flying chips generated during cutting) and ear protection (Fig. 8).

OPERATION PROCEDURES
1.
Fill the tray with water, making sure the pump is fully submersed.
2. Connect the power cord in the wall outlet
3. Switch the machine to the "I" position.
ADJUSTMENTS
The QEP 83012 under
goes thorough testing and are set accurately before leaving the factory. The user does not
have to adjust it in any way to perform linear and 45° cutting operations.
LINEAR, 45
° AND DIAGONAL CUTTING OPERATIONS
Linear cutting:
1.
Push the sliding trolley towards the side opposite the operator until it reaches the stroke limit.
2. Position the tile on the cutting table (cuts 30" square, 20" diagonal).
3. Set the cutting size with the help of the special squaring tool (Figs. 9 & 10).
4. Lock the motor unit in place, using the special screw grip on the right-hand side of the motor trolley.
5. Pull the motor trolley slowly towards the material to be cut.
6. Remove the cut pieces and any chips left on the work surface.

° cutting:
1.
Loosen the screw grips which lock the sliding rod.
2. Turn the motor unit counterclockwise until it reaches the stroke
limit (Fig.11).
3. Fasten the locking screw-grips located at the end of the
machine tightly.
4. Carry out the procedure for "linear cutting" from point 1 to point 6.
