Understanding Command Use and Message Credits
The sending of any vehicle command incurs the use of one (1) message credit. A message credit is de-
ducted from your account each time the system receives a response from your vehicle which indicates the
successful reception by the vehicle of the sent command.
Alarm commands are defined as:
•
Locate vehicle
•
Arm system/Lock doors/Geofence on
•
Disarm system/Unlock doors/Geofence off
•
Remote engine start
•
Unlock only
•
Starter Interrupt
•
Theft reset
In event that the vehicle fails to receive any sent command, the system does not deduct from your account.
Note:
The remaining message credit balance on your account is displayed in the center navigation frame
on each of the system’s command menus under the column labeled “Credits”.
Vehicle commands are defined as:
a. Auto Report On/Off
b. Speed Alert On/Off
c. Geo-fences On/Off
d. Low Battery Alert On/Off
e. Trip Start, Trip End or Stationary Vehicle Mes-
sage
f.
Any Alarm or other System related wireless
message sent or received.
