If Your Vehicle Has Been Stolen
What you need to do:
Call the Vehicle Recovery Assistance Center at
1- 800-705-8766
and select option two (2) “To
Report a Stolen Vehicle”. You will be automatically connected with a representative to assist you in
filing a stolen vehicle report with you local law enforcement agency. The representative will work di-
rectly with the local law enforcement agency to recover your vehicle
WARNING: YOU SHOULD NEVER ATTEMPT TO RECOVER THE VEHICLE YOURSELF.
If the vehicle has been stolen and the tracking unit was installed with a host alarm or alarm/remote
start, the alarm will enter the theft mode. While in this mode, the vehicle lights and horn/siren will
sound a specialized S.O.S. pattern (3 short flashes and chirps, followed by 3 long flashes and chirps,
followed by 3 short flashes and chirps...). In addition, the starter inhibit feature is activated. This
prevents restarting of the vehicle once the ignition has been turned off. The transmitter will not oper-
ate. The manual override will not disarm this mode. The only way to reset this function is to send a
"Theft reset" command via the phone or Internet.
