2. Miniature circuit breaker (non-standard configuration)
If the coil overheats for any reason, then bending the bimetal in the miniature circuit breaker will trigger a
signal which will then shut off the power to the motor via an external circuit in the starting console or control
panel. When the temperature returns to normal, the circuit breaker automatically resets, but the restart is
controlled by the starting console or control panel.
ATTENTION :
•
The miniature circuit breaker with contact "b" is modified so that it is normally "closed" and will "open"
when overheating occurs.

To protect the motor from power surges, make sure that you have installed a motor circuit breaker,
thermal relay or similar device in the external starting bracket or control panel.
6.5 Water level during operation
Monitor the water level during operation. Dry-running will damage the pump.
CAUTION:
Do not run the pump above the minimum immersion depth, as this will damage the pump and cause
electric arcing and electric shock.
The table below shows the minimum water level during operation according to power. Ensure that
the water level does not drop below these values.

MODEL 4: 3,7-5,5 kW 135 mm
The water level for models not listed in the tables should be above the pump strainer.
7 Maintenance and check-ups
