This Analogue Remote Control Socket effectively allows you to "press" a number of front panel keys remotely - for
example from a Pulsar Touch Panel, Out Station or another Masterpiece. This provides great scope for expanding
the system - a number of Masterpieces can be used to control different groups of equipment under the control of a
"master" Masterpiece. Scenes are created on the master Masterpiece which contain the 1s and 0s shown below on
6 channels, these are used to drive the Remote Control Socket of a "slave" Masterpiece. From one master
Masterpiece, up to 18 Slave Masterpieces could be controlled to drive up to 1,944 channels!
Remote Control DIN socket pin connections:
Pin 1 - Is - Current supply, at 18-25 volts, available to power a Pulsar Touch Panel or other "Out Station".
Pin 2 - Earth
Pin 3 - Input 1, >3.7 volts = logic 1
Pin 4 - Input 2, "
Pin 5 - Input 3, "
Pin 6 - Input 4, "
Pin 7 - Input 5, "
Pin 8 - Input 6, >5.7 volts = logic 1 OR Short to 0v (eg. contact closure) = Forward Manual Step.

Notes:
E.2.-7 = Environment Keyboard No.2, Keyboard Pad No.7.
The Keyboards driven may be in Flash, Swap or Solo, but Latch, which toggles with each press, should be used with
caution as it is possible to lose track of whether a key is off or on.
Although this socket only allows the selection of Environments and Environment Chases, this does give you access
to everything since an Environment could contain as little as just 1 channel level for example.
The Input Signals may be momentary but need to last 25ms. With momentary inputs, a number of Masterpiece Out
Stations may be wired in parallel to operate the same Masterpiece.
Input 63 - Force a Remote Blackout, is required by some Fire Authorities to force a blackout of a club’s effects lights.
The required "binary" input signals can be produced using diodes from a contact closure from the "Is" on Pin 1.
