DELAY
With the delay, it is possible to compensate differences in the running distances between different speaker-
systems or speaker-systems at different installation spots.
Delay in 21 µs steps. Can be displayed in ms, ft or m. The time unit of the delay can b e changed in the
System Menu. The maximum possible delay is 24,000 steps (500 ms) per channel.
How to calculate the delay-time:
The delay-time T equals the distance in meters (D) divided by the speed of sound (C).
T=D/C
How to calculate the speed of sound: C=20.6 * (273 + °C) in meter per second.
2. EQ-Menu
Assignable equalizer
With the DXO-26 PRO, you can assign individual equalizers for every channel (IN A-C, OUT 1-8).
EQ#
Selects one of the 6 available equalizers.
LEVEL
EQ level gain. Ranges from -30 dB to +15 dB in 0.25 dB steps.
FREQ
EQ center frequency. Ranges from 20 Hz to 20 kHz in either 1 Hz steps or 1/36 octave steps. The sampling
rate and the frequency steps can be selected in the System Menu.
BW
EQ bandwith. Ranges from 0.02 to 2.5 octaves in steps of 0.1 octave steps for PEQ. The Q value is
automatically shown beneatch the octave value.
For Lo-shf or Hi-shf it is eatiher 6 or 12 dB/oct.
TYPE
Type of EQ. The types can be parametric (PEQ), Lo-shelf (Lo-shf) and Hi-shelf (Hi-shf).
