The PSSO system-controller is designed for professional application.
The PSSO DXO-48 is equipped with XLR input and output jacks.
The occupation of the XLR-plugs is as follows:
PIN 1 = Shield
PIN 2 =
PIN 3 = Signal -
Frontpanel
1) LED INPUT Meter
Indicates the current peak input level: signal (-48 dB), -12 dB, -6 dB, -3 dB, Over. The Input OVER LED
references to the device´s maximum headroom.
2) LED OUTPUT Meter
Indicates the current peak output level relative to the adjusted limiter threshold. The Output LIMIT LED
references to the threshold of the limiter.
3) LCD DISPLAY
To display functions and operating status.
4) <<MENU and MENU>> button
For navigation in between the menus.
5) <<CURSOR and CURSOR>> button
For cursor navigation in one menu page.
6) JOG-dial
For adjusting parameters. Turning this wheel to the right increases the parameter value and turning it to the
left decreases them. The wheel has travel velocity sensing which ease large incremental data modifications.
For modifying delay and frequency (1 Hz solution) pressing the SPEED-key simultaneously will
increment/decrement the data value by 100x.
7) Input MUTE buttons
Mute/Unmute input channels. When an input channel is muted, a red LED will come on for indication.
8) Input GAIN/MENU-buttons
Selects the corresponding input channel for the LCD menu display and is acknowledged by a green LED.
The last modified menu will be displayed on the LCD. Linking multiple channels is accomplished by pressing
and holding the first channel key, then pushing the other desired channels. This eases programming for
same parameters across multiple channels. Inputs and outputs cannot be linked together.
9) Output MUTE buttons
Mute/Unmute output channels. When an output channel is muted, a red LED will come on for indication.
10) Output GAIN/MENU buttons
Selects the corresponding output channel for the LCD menu display and is acknowledged by a green LED.
The last modified menu will be displayed on the LCD. Linking multiple channels is accomplished by pressing
and holding the first channel key, then pushing the other desired channels. This eases programming for
same parameters across multiple channels. Inputs and outputs cannot be linked together.
