“Solar” function
Setting the general controller functions
The general controller functions allow you to configure the settings for charging the
storage tanks. You can set the following controller functions:
•
Charging method
•
"Storage tank priority" function
•
"Parallel charging" function
•
Pump control
•
"Tube collector" function
3.1
Setting the charging method
In order to optimise the energy output, you can choose from the following charging
principles:
•
"Temperature difference" charging principle
•
"Target temperature" charging principle
The charging principle is selected in the following menu item:
•
Basic settings/Solar circuit/Charging principle
"Temperature difference" charging method
In the case of the "Temperature difference" charging principle, the solar circuit pump is
controlled in such a way that the temperature difference between the collector and the
storage tank is maintained at as constant a level as possible.
"Target temperature" charging method
In the case of the "Target temperature" charging principle, the solar circuit pump is
switched on when a certain specific target temperature has been reached in the collector.
For this function you can set the following parameters:
•
Program/Solar circuit/Target temperature
3.2
Setting the "Storage tank priority" function
This function is available only for 2 or more storage tank systems.
