15 Software
15.1 Settings
Connect the equipment with the software
Establish a connection with a Windows PC via the RS 485 Interface so that the LM_ 100 can be
detected by the software. The easiest way to do this is by means of the Interface Converter SIC 485U
(see 6.3).
Install the parameterization software ProSoft P1 included in the supply, by running the file
SetupProSoftP1.exe. Program can then be started through the icon ProSoft P1 on your Desktop.
After software has started select your language:
Deutsch or English
To set up an interface communication click on
Interface .
The
COM port selection is different for each
device, so select the appropriate interface. You
normally have one choice only. Baudrate, Parity
e Stop-Bits usually do not need to be set.
Required settings are:
Baudrate 19200
Parity: even (E)
Stop-Bits: 1 Stop-Bit
Click on
OK.
After the initial setup, you can now establish a
connection between software and LMB sensor.
Click on Connect (Abbildung 12).
When a connection has been successfully
established, the sensor information and additional
menu steps will be displayed.
