Time” should not be set to an excessively large value in order to minimise the ramp up time for the 
“Reference Diameter”.

Setting a minimum “Start speed” prevents the SMFD function from logging flaws during line start-up 
and shutdown.

Setting a minimum “Length” prevents the SMFD function from logging flaws during line start-up and
