over prime the engine. This could cause a hydraulic lock and damage the engine
when the starter is applied.
• If over-primed, remove the glow plug, close the high speed needle valve, cover the head
with a rag and apply the starter to pump out excess fuel. The rag will help to prevent fuel
from coming into contact with your eyes.

Rotate the low speed needle until the head
sticks out 0.5mm from the ball link body.
This is the standard position.
Ball Link
First rotate the mid needle until its slotted
head is flush with the carburetor body. This is the
standard position.
5.5 turns out. Make adjustments with the slide in the open position.
2¾ turns out. Make adjustments with the slide in the open position!
Dirt and dust may lodge in marked places
