4.1.3 Ethernet
Configuration
The Ethernet Configuration section is optional, and is required only if you will be
using ProSoft Technology's PROFIBUS comDTM. PROFIBUS comDTM allows
configuration tools, instruments and communication devices on a field network to
recognize and use the module's capabilities. Refer to the PDPMV1 Driver Manual
for more information on PROFIBUS comDTM.

Double click on the
icon. This action opens the Edit - WATTCP
dialog box.
Every ProLinx PDPMV1 module is set up with the default Ethernet
configuration shown in this example. You may have to modify these values to
suit the needs of your network.
Note:
All modules must have the same Subnet Mask and Default Gateway if they are all located on
the same network. Only the fourth octet in the my_ip address must be different for each module.
