The next step is to configure the PLX PDPM-V1 section.

Double-click the
icon. This action opens the Edit dialog box.

Notice that the Input and Output data size parameters are configured for 768
words of PROFIBUS data, each in their own area of memory in the module
database. Cyclic data commutation of slave I/O data is handled automatically
by the master. You do not need to do anything other than specify the start
register and data size for slave I/O data. This has been done for you in the
sample configuration and the sample ladder logic. The Mailbox, Slave, Alarm,
Status and Watchdog registers are all disabled as they are not used in the
sample configuration.
