OPERATION
1. Ensure the regulator switch is in the neutral or OFF position.
2. Connect the tool to the air source.
3. Turn the compressor regulator to the desired air pressure (see
Specifications).
4. Firmly grip the air hammer with both hands and place the chisel
against the workpiece.
5. Squeeze the trigger (#AH12) and slowly move along the
workpiece. Do not force the air hammer; let the tool do the work.
6. If the chisel is not performing well, turn off the tool and examine the
chisel to see if it is dull. Replace with a sharp chisel. Remember
that sharp tools are safer than ones that have become dull.
7. Once finished, disconnect the tool from its air source and
discharge any residual air in the tool before storing it.
8. Remove the chisel and the spring retainer after each use. Clean the
air hammer, retainer and chisels to make sure there is no
accumulated dust or debris remaining on the tool. Reinstall the
retainer back onto the air hammer before storage.
