Initial Setup of the ProCurve NAC 800

System Settings

Enter a password in the

Root password

field.

As described in “System Settings” on page 3-3, you use the root password
to access the NAC 800’s OS (through an SSH session). The password

must

contain both letters and numbers; special characters are also allowed.

Enter the same password in the

Re-enter root password

field.
