Cleaning (continued)
On the toaster, press the PRODUCT button on the
Control Panel until the display reads “OFF”.
Always turn the unit OFF before cleaning. Proceed
with caution, unit is still hot!

A. While the toaster is still hot, brush the platens (gray
metal surface on which the buns toast) with the
URT Cleaning Tool. Insert the brush at the
chamber’s top and wipe the platen using an up and
down motion.
B. Clean each section of the platen and both sides of
the club platen. Add more High Temperature Grill
Cleaning Solution to the URT Cleaning Tool as
necessary.
C. Place a sanitized cloth at the end of the Cleaning
Tool and wipe the platens to remove any excess
High Temperature Grill Cleaning Solution.

A. Wipe the BBLZ with McD All Purpose Super
Concentrate (APSC), sanitize with McD Kayquat
Sanitizer and wipe clean with sanitized cloth.
B. Spray and wipe down the exterior with McD Heavy-
Duty Degreaser or Exceed Glass & Multi-surface
Cleaner, depending on the soil level.
C. Do not clean the IR panels.
SHOCK/DAMAGE HAZARD! Do NOT allow the
damp soft cloth to touch the heating apparatus
inside the toaster unit!
